Hace como 2 años aproximadamente, cuando mi hijo más pequeño tenía como tres años, vi un video de una mamá asiática que había desarrollado increíbles juegos para jugar en la seguridad de la casa, con elementos que todos tenemos y muy divertidos para los niños. Así que tomé nota esa noche y pensé “No se diga más” ¡mañana mismo hacemos todos estos juegos!. Así que sin más me di vuelta en mi cama calentita, dejé el celular en la mesita y me dormí muy emocionada por la diversión y buen día que había planeado en mi mente. ¡Todo resultará genial, los chicos estará muy contentos!
El día siguiente llegó, después de mis actividades personales de la mañana, me puse a buscar por toda la casa los elementos que ibamos a necesitar para ese maravilloso momento de juegos juntos.
Pelotas, check!
Vasos, check!
Canasta, check!
Frutas de plástico que nos servirán como objetos de juego, check!!
No hizo falta nada de nada, cada vez me sentía más emocionada por darles la sorpresa a mis hijos.
Después del desayuno anuncié:
El día de hoy vamos a jugar, no haremos otras actividades, solo nos enfocaremos a jugar juntos. Como era de esperarse los dos peques saltaron de contentos, y sus ojos cada vez se hacían más grandes y brillantes, ¡Esto sí que era interesante! Debo admitir que no suelo ser una mamá que juega mucho, esa tarea la hace de maravilla el papá, pero ese día tenia toda mi intensión en jugar con mis hijos, que hicieran actividades distintas y divertirnos juntos, eso hacía más interesante el momento para ellos.
Pasamos la primera hora muy divertidos jugando por la casa, encestando frutas en una canasta, soplando pelotas, etc, etc. Hasta que llegó la siguiente actividad, jugar algo así como un ping pong con vasos y para ello necesitábamos una mesa, esta debía ser baja para que los niños pudieran jugar bien, así que decidimos que el mejor lugar para eso era la mesita de la sala.
De todos los juegos, pensé, este es el que más me gusta porque no me voy a preocupar de que alguno de ellos se caiga, se lastime y yo me puedo sentar y relajar un poco.
Muy decididos nos dirigimos a nuestra sala, que es pequeña y prácticamente sillones acolchados rodean todo el espacio y al centro hay una mesa de madera con cristal.
Comenzamos a jugar, me batía en duelo con cada uno de mis hijos por turnos, iba venciendo al mayor, ¡el triunfo estaba de mi lado! Cuando de pronto, mi hijo pequeño que observaba echando porras y esperando su turno sentado en el sillón, perdió el equilibrio y no se cómo ni de que manera, por que los espacios eran reducidos, cayó de frente a la mesa, con la boca abierta, clavando sus dientes en la madera, le doy gracias a Dios que no alcanzó a tocar el cristal del centro.
Enseguida levanté a mi hijo que lloraba intensamente, y lo primero que vi fue mucha sangre corriendo por su boca, lo limpié rápidamente para poder observar cuánto daño se había hecho, y vi que sus dientes se habían movido de lugar, uno estaba hacía afuera el otro hacia adentro, algo así como los dientes de Mate en Cars, pero un poco más aparatoso.
Me asusté mucho, el seguía llorando muy fuerte, yo no podía creer que en la zona que consideraba más segura de la casa había pasado esto, no podía creerlo, ¡se supone que todo lo tenía bajo control! ¡Se supone que este debía ser el día más maravilloso de ese mes!
Con voz entrecortada llamé a nuestro dentista que también es nuestro amigo, y entre lágrimas le conté todo lo que había pasado, yo pensaba que se había fracturado de alguna manera el maxilar superior porque desde mi perspectiva se veía aparatoso, él con la voz serena y pausada que lo caracteriza vio las fotos que le mandé, me tranquilizó y me dijo que lo revisaría pero que consideraba que no era nada grave, solo que probablemente los dientitos se le podrían oscurecer. Yo estaba muy triste y mi hijo mayor estaba sentado conmigo mientras consolábamos al peque.
Ya no me pregunten sobre los juegos, porque realmente se me olvidó todo, realmente no recuerdo ni como se llamaba el video donde vi los juegos para pasarles el dato, no recuerdo como era la mamá japonesa que compartía las ideas, no recuerdo nada de eso, realmente el impacto hizo que me olvidara de todo ello y ahorita por más que trato de recordar no recuerdo ni dónde lo vi, si en Youtube, Instagram o Tiktok. En fin, ese día que habíamos planeado para hacerlo un día super mega divertido, resultó siendo unos de los días más tristes y dolorosos.
Gracias a Dios sus dientes se recuperaron, volvieron a su lugar original y no se oscurecieron, pero les comparto esta anécdota para ilustrar que a veces creemos que tenemos el control de cada detalle, que no tiene porque salir nada mal, todo esta bien planeado y estamos en casa, en nuestra zona segura, pero en un abrir y cerrar de ojos el día puede cambiar, no siempre tiene que ser con situaciones así de alarmantes, pero esos cambios pueden ser, por ejemplo cuando todo ya esta listo para que le dedique media hora a explicarle un tema, le pides a tu hijo que saque su libro y de repente él se da cuenta que no sabe donde dejó el libro y pierden esa valiosa media hora buscando el dichoso libro, sin éxito.
Puede pasar con los colores y lápices, con las actitudes de los niños, con diferentes factores que en un abrir y cerrar de ojos cambia el plan inicial del día y todo “eche a perder”, pero como les decía en el artículo anterior: “Respira, no podemos controlar cada detalle de nuestras vidas, de los acontecimientos del día, de la reacción y colaboración de nuestros hijos. Confía en el proceso y pon tus afanes en manos del que Todo lo Puede ❤.” ¡¡Ánimo!!
