Como algunos de ustedes saben, nosotros ya llevamos casi tres años en MATI, así que hoy quiero contarles cómo le ha ido a mi hijo usando Istation en Inglés.
Cuando mi hijo comenzó a usar este programa prácticamente llegó sin muchos conocimientos previos del idioma, solamente conocía los colores, algunos verbos, los números y unas frases básicas que le habíamos enseñado en casa, pero nada más. Por lo mismo comenzó usando Istation desde el nivel de kinder, cuando él ya tenía 8 años.
La persistencia diaria y el esfuerzo de mi hijo ha dado resultados, prácticamente a diario mi hijo le dedica 20 minutos a su estudio de Inglés, y he podido notar como en poco tiempo ha ido avanzando mucho. Tanto su comprensión y vocabulario ha ido en aumento, lo único que le es bastante difícil es a la hora de hablar.
Hace unas semanas, cuando mi hijo estaba realizando sus actividades en el programa, le pidieron que hiciera un reportaje ficticio, obviamente escrito en inglés y él nunca había hecho algo así, entonces le dije que hiciera lo que pudiera y que no se angustiara. Yo me fui a hacer la comida y me llamó la atención ver que estaba muy muy concentrado (él normalmente batalla con eso), y después de un tiempo considerable me llamó: \”Mamá ya acabé, puedes venir a ver, quiero leerte mi reportaje\”
Al ver el tamaño del texto me sorprendió, pero me sorprendí aún más al ver que lo ¡había hecho bastante bien! Esto fue lo que escribió:
Se que el texto contiene errores gramaticales, etc, pero para su nivel y que todo ese aprendizaje lo haya logrado con la ayuda de Istation resultó una enorme sorpresa para mí. Ver el vocabulario que maneja y que se comprendía lo que quería decir fue muy emocionante. De hecho se lo mandé a una amiga que es estadounidense y su opinión fue que estaba muy bien para su nivel.
Les comparto este logro para animarles a quienes empiezan a usar Istation, que con constancia sí hay buenos resultados.
